Wednesdays Activity Table Time

For ages 0 - 3 years old. Experience a different activity each week including materials for stacking, sensory exploration and more to satisfy a child's natural curiosity while enhancing hand/eye coordination, encouraging language development and building motor skills.

Thursdays Early Explorers
9:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
The Children's Museum's hands-on exhibits are designed to spark an interest in learning, critical to a child's success at school. During Early Explorers Time , you and your preschooler can explore the key indicators of success at school - literacy, scientific reasoning, primary thinking about math, the arts, and the humanities - found throughout our museum. Special activities and a museum staff assistance offer an enhanced learning experience. For children 0 - 5 years old

RiverTown Rover
Saturdays and Sundays

Facilitated games, crafts and interactive stories highlighting different cultural groups of the Mid-Hudson Valley. Activities rotate on a monthly basis.
July Pakistan! Learn how to play "Carrom," apopular South Asian game of strategy enjoyed by both children and adults.
August Zimbabwe! Discover how children of Zimbabwe use their imaginations to invent toys from found objects. Create your own toy using colorful wire and other materials.
