The Children's Museum strong belief in the parent as first teacher for the most important early childhood development years, our Educators expends much time, energy and creativity to develop weekly playgroups with a 5 week unifying theme. Through our Museum Babies (0 - 12 months), Multiage Playgroup (0 - 5 years old), Toddler Time (1 - 21/2 years old)) and Preschool Fun (2 - 5 years old) playgroups, the youngest museum visitors learn about their world through activities led by the Museum Educator.

Join our Museum Educators for an enriching 45-minute program where children and parents sing songs, dance, play finger games, group parachute games and explore our texture table. All sessions read a story and the 11:00 A.M. class include a related art project. This is a fabulous opportunity for parents, caregivers and young children to socialize and become comfortable in a loving structured environment.

Museum Babies is for infants 12 months old or younger. Join your child for a half-hour of music, games, and story time to begin your child’s love of music and social interaction with other children their age. The Children's Museum's hands-on exhibits are designed to spark an interest in learning, critical to a child's success at school. During Early Explorers Time, you and your preschooler can explore the key indicators of success at school - literacy, scientific reasoning, primary thinking about math, the arts, and the humanities - found throughout our museum. Special activities and a museum staff assistance offer an enhanced learning experience.

Messy Art		Ages 3 and older
A different painting technique each week .

Fee: $10 for all three sessions or $4 per session plus museum admission.
